General Information and Cancellations

Pets:
Pets are welcome in our Hideaway Cottages and Campwater Houses only. Pets are not allowed in River View Cabins, The Falls Suite, or Maple Ridge Suite - including their decks and porches. Pets must be on a leash at all times on the property. There is a maximum of two pets allowed per room and aggressive breeds are not allowed. Pets cannot be left alone in the room unless kenneled. Owners are responsible for clean up and all pet actions. Pets may not be left in vehicles or tied up outside.

Pets may dine with guests, weather permitting, in outdoor seating only. Health Codes do not allow pets to be in the restaurant. Pets brought in to rooms that are not pet friendly will result in a cleaning fee of $250 per night or the actual cost of cleaning/repairs, whichever is more.

We welcome all service animals throughout our facility. For your reference, a service animal is defined as a dog that is individually trained to do work or perform tasks for a person with a disability. Service animals are different from emotional support animals, which do not have the training to assist a person with a disability. Please let the staff know if you will be traveling with a service animal.

Smoking:
Steamboat Inn is a smoke-free property. Smoking and/or vaping of any kind is prohibited.

Cancellation Policy:
Due to our remote (and very special) location, last minute cancellations often cannot be rebooked. Because of this, we have a strict cancellation policy. If you have any questions about this policy, please contact us before booking.

Full payment for lodging is due when placing the reservation.

With more than a 30 day notice, prepayments will be refunded less a 10% processing fee. The fee covers the credit card processing charges and cannot be waived.

Cancellations within a week of the arrival date forfeit the payment.

There are no refunds for early check out.

No-shows forfeit the payment.

With more than 7 days notice, you may change dates without penalty up to one year in the future, subject to availability. The reservation must be moved to a new date and only one date change is allowed. Once moved, the reservation is not refundable.

Reservations made 7 days or less before arrival are 100% non refundable and may not be moved.

Reservations during holidays are non refundable and may not be moved.

Group reservations and/or special events are non refundable and may not be moved.

Steamboat Inn is a remote lodge located in the National Forest. We cannot be responsible for weather, road/trail conditions, closures of forest areas, river/fishing closures, air quality, health or medical issues, or other factors beyond our control. Due to the unpredictable nature of weather and natural events, and general life happenings that may occur between the time the reservation is made and the arrival date, we strongly encourage you to consider purchasing travel insurance to offset the cost of a last-minute cancellation. Steamboat Inn may be required to suspend operations due to wildfire evacuation, the closure of Highway 138, or other circumstances beyond our control. In this event, we will offer you the choice of rescheduling or receiving a full refund for the unused portion of your stay.

Suites and cabins sleep a maximum of 2 people. Cottages sleep up to 4 and houses sleep up to 6. Roll away beds are not available. Additional people will require additional rooms.  Children age 2 and over are included in the occupancy count.  Pack and plays are not available.
