Sounds of the River or Luxurious Privacy
The Streamside Cabins are carpeted and pine paneled, with comfortable furnishings, private baths, and spacious decks overlooking the North Umpqua at its most magnificent. Fine photographs, interesting prints, hand quilted comforters and Vermont Castings gas stoves complement these one room cabins. Imagine being lulled to sleep by the sounds of the North Umpqua!
The Hideaway Cottages are
located one-half mile from the Inn in a wooded setting (these units
do not have a river view.) Each cottage features a living room with
fireplace, king size bed in the master bedroom, a large bath with tiled
soaking tub, a sleeping loft, and a mini-kitchen for snacks and light
housekeeping. Imagine spending a long winter's evening in one of these
warm and cozy chalets!
The
River Suites combine the
luxury of the hideaway cottages and the river views of the Streamside
Cabins. Each river suite features a large living room with fireplace,
mini-kitchen, soaking tub overlooking the river, king size bed, private
deck, air conditioning and other amenities that add up to the best
of everything! Perfect for the romantic getaway.
The Camp Water Houses are
remodeled, sixties-style three bedroom houses that were built on
the site of the old tent camp and the North Umpqua Lodge - across
the river from the Inn, above the camp water and next to the Mott
Trail. We are pleased to have arranged a lease with the participation
of the State of Oregon and the U.S. Forest Service. This unique partnership
allows us to offer full housekeeping units to those guests who want
to do more of their own cooking, washing, etc. (Now why would anyone
want to do such a thing?) We think these places are perfect for families
with children.
